He doesn't write the whole book usually. He just commissions them and edits them with some contributions from himself and the rest from friends and colleagues.

I've bought it. First thing I've ever bought from the Idler Empire, but it's just beautifully presented and bound and full of good writers and looked excellent value for 19 quid generally..

Excellent idea snakey. I'd forgotten about amazon as i haven't bought anything off there for a while. There selling used copies for a tenner - much more reasonable
